- Pillowtop. A cushioned pillowtop layer that provides plush-cushioned comfort. You'll feel this first: a soft, cradling surface before the springs take over.
- Fillings. Responsibly sourced, fully traceable British wool, hemp and flax, all grown on the Harrison Spinks farm. Wool in particular helps regulate temperature, which means less overheating than you'd get from synthetic fillings.
- Pocket spring system. The award-winning Advanced Cortec Quad system with 3,750 pocket springs in king size, including 1,000 Posturfil pocket springs and 2,000 high-density micro springs. The micro springs sit closer to the surface, which means more precise contouring around shoulders and hips.
- Cover. A fire-retardant, chemical treatment-free wool-blend cover woven in-house, hand-tufted and finished with two rows of hand-side stitching. That stitching gives edge-to-edge support, so the sides won't sag when you sit or sleep near them.

- Room to sleep apart, together: At 15cm wider than a UK double, the king gives each of you 75cm, enough to change position without brushing your partner awake.
- Less partner disturbance: The king's 3,750 pocket springs respond individually, which means one of you getting up at 5am transmits less movement across the extra width.
- Length for taller sleepers: The 200cm length adds 10cm over a UK double, a real relief if one of you is approaching or past six foot.
- Dual tension on request: In king size this mattress can be ordered with a different tension on each side, so a firm-preferring partner and a medium-preferring one both get their way.

You share the bed every night and a double has started to feel like a compromise, you and your partner keep different hours and want movement on one side to fade before it reaches the other, or one of you is tall enough that 190cm beds leave feet at the edge. It also suits couples who disagree on firmness, since the king can be made dual tension.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than the 2.7m x 2.9m we suggest as a minimum for a UK king, or you need a single, double or super king. Harrison Spinks doesn't currently offer the Pure Embrace Pillowtop in any other size, so you'd need a different mattress.

How much space does each person get on the Pure Embrace king?
Two people sharing the UK king get 75cm each of the 150cm width. That's enough for each of you to lie with arms out or curled up without crossing the middle, which is where much of the reduced partner disturbance comes from on a mattress this size.
Is the Pure Embrace king long enough for someone over six foot?
Very likely, yes. The UK king is 200cm long, 10cm longer than a UK double, so a sleeper around six foot has clear space above and below rather than heels hanging off the end. If you're well over six foot, allow for your pillow taking up some of that length too.
Can the Pure Embrace king have a different firmness on each side?
Yes. The mattress comes in medium and firm tensions, and in king size it can be ordered in dual tension, so each half of the bed has its own feel. That's a useful option for couples where one partner is noticeably heavier or simply prefers a firmer surface.
Does the Harrison Spinks Pure Embrace come in sizes other than king?
Not at the moment. The Pure Embrace Pillowtop is currently listed in UK king only, at 150 x 200cm. If your room or budget points to a double, or you want the extra width of a super king, you'd need to look at a different mattress rather than a different size of this one.
Will the Pure Embrace king fit in a new build master bedroom?
Often, but measure first. We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, and newer master bedrooms can feel tight once fitted wardrobes and bedside tables go in. If you're left with less than that, the walkways around the bed will be squeezed rather than the bed itself.
