- Real space for two: At 75cm each for two people sharing, you can both turn over without negotiating for territory.
- Less partner disturbance: Pocket springs respond individually, and the extra width of a UK king keeps you further from your partner's movements, useful when your alarms are hours apart.
- Length for taller sleepers: The 200cm length is 10cm more than a UK double, a genuine relief if either of you is approaching six foot.
- Room to shift position: During pregnancy, or while recovering from an injury, the wider platform gives you space to prop pillows and change position without crowding your partner.
- A substantial pillowtop at full width: The 30cm depth in a 150cm wide mattress makes for a hotel-style presence, though remember you'll need deep-fitted king sheets to match.
This size suits you if...
You're a couple who've outgrown a double and want noticeably more space each, one of you is tall enough for the extra 10cm of length to matter, or your sleep schedules differ and you want movement on one side to reach the other less. It also suits anyone who needs room to reposition through the night, during pregnancy or after surgery, without disturbing the person beside them.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom can't comfortably take a UK king; we suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m. This mattress is currently listed in UK king only, so if you need a smaller or larger size, you'll need a different model.

How big is the Harrison Spinks Pure Sensation Pillowtop in a UK king?
It measures 150 x 200cm, which is 5ft x 6ft 6in. That works out at 75cm each for two people sharing, and the mattress itself is 30cm deep, so allow for that when choosing fitted sheets and judging bed height.
What room size do I need for the Pure Sensation Pillowtop in a UK king?
We suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m, with around 3.2m x 3.2m feeling comfortable. Measure with wardrobes and bedside tables in place, since a new build master bedroom can feel a good deal smaller once the furniture is in.
Is the UK king Pure Sensation Pillowtop big enough for a couple with different schedules?
It should help. The UK king is 15cm wider than a UK double, and pocket springs move independently, so someone getting up early transmits less motion across the bed. If one of you regularly slips out hours before the other, the extra width is the part you'll feel.
Does the Pure Sensation Pillowtop come in sizes other than UK king?
Not that we can find listed at the moment. The UK king, at 150 x 200cm, is the only size available, so if you need a UK double or a UK super king you'll have to look at a different mattress. Compare the retailers listed on this page for current availability.
Is a UK king long enough for a tall sleeper?
At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than a UK double, which makes a real difference for anyone around six foot or over. If either of you currently wakes with feet hanging off the end of a 190cm mattress, the length is arguably the bigger upgrade than the width.
