- Micro springs. A layer of 2,500 high-density micro springs, which means the surface can contour to your shoulders and hips even though the overall feel is firm. It's cushioning without softness, in effect.

Is the Pure Splendour Firm in a UK king big enough for two people?
Comfortably, for most couples. The 150cm width gives you 75cm each for two people sharing, and because the mattress is firm you tend to stay on your own side rather than rolling towards the middle. If either of you sprawls, or a pet joins you most nights, that extra width is where you'll feel the benefit.
Will I feel my partner moving on the UK king size?
Less than you might expect. The king size holds 11,000 springs, and pocket springs compress individually rather than as one unit, so movement stays fairly localised. Combined with 75cm each for two people sharing, one person getting up early is far less likely to wake the other than on a narrower mattress.
Is the UK king long enough for someone over six foot?
At 200cm, or 5ft x 6ft 6in overall, it suits most tall sleepers. The UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, and that extra length is often the difference between feet hanging over the edge and lying flat. Very tall sleepers should still measure themselves against the 200cm figure before buying.
Should I choose the UK king or the UK super king in this mattress?
It usually comes down to your room. The UK king is 30cm narrower than the UK super king, and the two are the same length, so sizing up buys width only. We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, against 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king, so measure before you commit.
