Key benefits
- More room each: You each get 75cm of sleeping width, which means a little more space to turn over without nudging your partner awake.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm long, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, so feet stay on the mattress instead of resting on the edge.
- Pocket springs for shared beds: Pocket springs move independently, which helps when one partner gets up hours before the other, and the extra width puts more distance between you.
- Space to prop and shift: During pregnancy or recovery, a UK king leaves room for wedge pillows and position changes while your partner keeps a usable share.
- Turning handles help at this size: A UK king pillow top is heavy to rotate head to toe, so the turning handles make the routine more manageable for one person.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and wake each other more than you'd like, one of you is close to or over six foot and the UK double feels short, or you need room for extra pillows during pregnancy or recovery.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is under our suggested minimum of 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king. We'd recommend the UK double instead, for which we suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

FAQ's
Is the Harrison Spinks Radiant 15000 Pillow Top UK king wide enough for two people?
It gives 75cm each for two people sharing, which suits most couples. If one of you sprawls or the dog sleeps on the bed every night, the UK super king gives 90cm each, 15cm more per person, but we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m of floor space for it.
What size bedroom do I need for a Radiant 15000 Pillow Top king size?
We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, with 3.2m x 3.2m giving comfortable room to move. New build master bedrooms often feel smaller once fitted wardrobes are in, so measure from the wardrobe doors open rather than from the walls.
Should I get the UK king or UK double if my partner is over six foot?
Go for the UK king. It is 10cm longer than the UK double at 200cm, so a taller partner's feet are less likely to hang off the end. You also gain 7.5cm of width each, though for many taller sleepers the length is the bigger difference.
How big is a king size Harrison Spinks Radiant 15000 Pillow Top in feet?
A UK king measures 5ft x 6ft 6in, or 150 x 200cm. Harrison Spinks doesn't publish a depth for this mattress, so check with the retailer before buying if your bed frame or fitted sheets need a specific depth.
Will the UK king Radiant 15000 help if my partner gets up early?
It should help a little. Individually pocketed springs limit how far movement travels, and the UK king's extra 15cm of width over the UK double puts more space between you. Very light sleepers may still notice someone getting out of bed, but less than on a narrower mattress.
