Layer Details
- Cover. Wrapped in high quality wool and natural viscose, fibres that are incredibly soft to the touch. They're also naturally fire retardant, so no chemical treatments are needed.
- Comfort fillings. Multiple layers of wool, hemp and flax sit beneath the cover. These natural fibres provide soft, cosy comfort and breathe well.
- MicroHD springs. A layer of 2,000 MicroHD springs sits above the core spring unit, which means the surface responds more precisely to your body. It's designed to make the mattress feel more adaptive as you move.
- Cortec Quad springs. The core holds 750 Cortec Quad springs, a design that fuses four springs into one pocket. That means increased responsiveness compared with a single spring doing the same job.
- Support layers. Two layers of Ecotex fibres, made from recycled materials, sit beneath the springs. They give the spring system a stable base to work from.

- Real space for two: At 75cm each for two people sharing, the UK king gives you room to change position without negotiating for territory every night.
- Less partner disturbance: The layer of 2,000 MicroHD springs responds to each sleeper separately, which means an early riser on one side transfers less movement across the width.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm, this size is 10cm longer than the UK double, a genuine relief if one of you is approaching six foot.
- Firm support across the full width: The Cortec Quad spring core keeps the firmer tension consistent edge to edge, so neither sleeper ends up on a softer strip.
- Natural fillings that breathe: Wool, hemp and flax fillings let heat escape, useful when two bodies share a bed all night.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a UK double has started to feel like a compromise, one of you gets up hours before the other and you want that movement kept to their side, or someone in the bed is tall enough that 190cm mattresses leave feet hanging over the end. It also suits couples whose dog has quietly become a permanent third occupant.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested minimum of 2.7m x 2.9m, or you sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK double instead; allow at least 2.6m x 2.8m for that size.

What are the dimensions of the Classic 2750 in a UK king?
The UK king measures 150 x 200cm, or 5ft x 6ft 6in. For two people sharing, that works out at 75cm each, which is why this size is the most common upgrade for couples who find a UK double a little tight.
Is the UK king Classic 2750 good for couples on different schedules?
It's a sensible pairing. The width gives you 75cm each, and the 2,000 MicroHD springs respond to pressure locally rather than across the whole surface, so one person sitting up or leaving early sends less movement to the other side. No spring mattress isolates motion completely, but this build handles it better than a single continuous spring unit would.
What room size do I need for this mattress in a UK king?
We suggest a room of at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, which leaves enough space to walk around the bed and open drawers. New build master bedrooms can be tighter than they first appear once wardrobes go in, so measure the usable floor rather than the room on the plan.
Is the UK king long enough for someone over six foot?
Usually, yes. At 200cm it's 10cm longer than the UK double, and for most people around or just over six foot that extra length is the difference between feet on the mattress and feet hanging off it. If length is your main reason for upgrading, the UK king delivers it without demanding a much bigger room.
Should I choose the UK king or the UK super king in this mattress?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and the two are the same length, so the decision is purely about width and room size. We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king. If your room clears that comfortably and you want maximum personal space, size up; otherwise the UK king is the safer fit.
