Layer Details
ClimaLux foam
Two 2cm layers of graphite-infused ClimaLux foam. They promote a cooler, fresher sleep surface, which helps if you tend to warm up in bed.
EcoLux ComfortCore foam
A 1cm layer that shapes around the body. It eases built-up pressure, adding to the plush feel.
Mini pocket springs
Two layers of 2000 mini pocket springs that improve airflow and give a bouncy feel. You get responsiveness rather than a slow sink.
EternityFibre
A finishing comfort layer described as highly resilient and durable. It's there to reduce settlement, so the surface should keep its shape for longer.
RestSupport coil core
A core of twice-tempered RestSupport coils that respond to body weight. This gives the support underneath the softer layers above.

Key benefits
- Room for two, room to move: At 135 x 190cm, the UK double leaves floor space for a wardrobe and drawers in a typical second bedroom or first flat.
- Bedside tables on both sides: In a room of around 3m x 3m, a UK double usually still leaves space for a bedside table each, which a UK king can squeeze out.
- A forgiving feel for visiting couples: The medium soft rating suits most guests who sleep on their side, so a guest room UK double should feel comfortable to a wide range of visitors.
- Cooler surface when sharing: Two people generate more heat than one, so the graphite-infused ClimaLux foam on top helps the bed feel a little fresher through the night.
- Bedding is easy to find: Double sheets and a 200 x 200cm double duvet fit, although the 36cm depth means you should choose deep fitted sheets.
This size suits you if...
You share a bed in a standard UK bedroom and want a softer, bouncy mattress without giving up floor space, or you're furnishing a guest room for visiting couples, or you sleep alone with a pet that likes its own corner.
Consider another size if...
You and your partner already feel cramped at 67.5cm each, or either of you is tall. We'd recommend the UK king instead; allow at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it.

FAQ's
Is the Sealy Exquisite Radiance Plush UK double big enough for two people?
For most couples, yes. The UK double gives 67.5cm each for two people sharing, which suits average builds. That is 7.5cm less each than the UK king, so if one of you sprawls, the UK king is the more comfortable option.
What size bedroom do I need for a Sealy Exquisite Radiance Plush UK double?
We suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m for a UK double. Around 3m x 3m is more comfortable, and usually leaves room for bedside tables on both sides and space to open a wardrobe door.
Is the Sealy Exquisite Radiance Plush double long enough if I'm tall?
The UK double is 190cm long, which is 6ft 3in. That suits most adults, but if you or your partner are tall and like to stretch out, the UK king is 10cm longer.
Should I get the Sealy Exquisite Radiance Plush in a UK double or UK king?
Choose the UK double if floor space matters more than sleeping space. The UK king is 15cm wider and 10cm longer, but we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it, compared with 2.6m x 2.8m for the UK double.
What sheets fit a Sealy Exquisite Radiance Plush double mattress?
Standard double sheets fit the 135 x 190cm surface, and a 200 x 200cm double duvet covers it well. The mattress is 36cm deep, so look for deep fitted sheets that will stay tucked under the corners.
