- Tencel™ Lyocell sleep surface. A silky, soft-touch fabric woven to allow airflow and move moisture away from you, which means the surface feels naturally cool. It's a small detail you'll appreciate on warm nights.
- Platinum comfort layer. Silentnight states this is 10x more breathable than memory foam with the same amount of pressure relief. In practice that means a cocooning, cushioned feel without the trapped heat foam can bring.
- British Wool Comfort Layer. Wool from Cheviot sheep gives a flexible, breathable layer with natural body and bounce. It's part of what keeps this mattress foam free while still feeling comfortable and supportive.
- Mirapocket® springs and mini pocket springs. 2000 Mirapocket springs adjust to your movements through the night, so support follows you as you change position. A further 1000 mini pocket springs sit alongside for added comfort and increased breathability.

- 75cm each for couples: Two people sharing get 75cm of width apiece, so one of you can prop pillows or shift position without pushing the other to the edge.
- Pocket springs limit partner disturbance: The 2000 Mirapocket springs respond individually, which means an early alarm on one side travels less across a UK king's width than it would on a smaller mattress.

Is the UK king worth it over the UK double for this mattress?
For couples, usually. The UK king is 15cm wider and 10cm longer than the UK double, which means more personal space each night and welcome extra length if either of you is tall. Since this mattress only comes in these two sizes, the UK king is also your only route to more room.
Will a UK king version of this mattress fit my bedroom?
We suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m, with more feeling comfortable once wardrobes and drawers are in. New build master bedrooms can be tighter than they look on the plan, so measure with furniture in place. If the space won't stretch, the UK double needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.
Does a king size help if my partner gets up earlier than me?
It helps on two fronts. The 75cm of width each keeps you further from the movement, and the 2000 Mirapocket springs respond individually rather than as one surface, so an early exit on one side is less likely to wake you. The medium/soft feel cushions rather than bounces, which helps too.
Is the king size long enough for someone over six foot?
At 200cm, the UK king gives noticeably more legroom than the 190cm UK double, the only other size this mattress is made in. That 10cm matters if your feet currently hang over the end. For anyone tall, length is often the stronger reason to size up than width.
