- Vitalize sleep surface. Silentnight says its Vitalize technology absorbs body heat and reflects lost energy back into the body, with claimed benefits for circulation. In practical terms, this is the soft-knit surface you'll feel first.
- High-density ReVo™ foam. An open-cell foam that lets air circulate, which means less of the heat build-up memory foam is known for. Its high density also gives closer body support beneath the softer surface.
- Pocket springs. 1000 zoned Mirapocket springs sit at the core, each moving independently so your partner's movement is less noticeable. The zoning gives firmer support under heavier areas like the hips for better spinal alignment.

The UK super king measures 180 x 200cm, which is 6ft x 6ft 6in. We suggest a room of at least 3m x 2.9m so you can walk around the bed and open drawers, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling right. Measure door swing and any landing turns too, the checks people skip.

How does the super king compare to the king in this mattress?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and the two are the same length. That extra width is the difference between sharing comfortably and sharing tolerably when a child or pet joins you. The king needs a room of at least 2.7m x 2.9m; the super king needs at least 3m x 2.9m.
Can this mattress get up a narrow staircase?
It arrives rolled, which helps considerably at this size, since a flat 180cm-wide mattress is awkward on most UK staircases. Once unrolled it won't compress back down, so check the boxed dimensions against tight landing turns before you order rather than after.
Is a super king too big if children climb in at night?
