Is a UK double big enough for a couple on a firm mattress?
For most couples, yes, with a caveat. The UK double gives 67.5cm each for two people sharing, and because the Special Sleep is firm you won't roll towards each other the way you might on a softer bed. If either of you is broad shouldered or spreads out in the night, the UK king is the safer choice.
