- Cool-to-touch sleep surface. The UltraGel™ cool-to-touch layer uses hyper-conductive technology woven into the surface fabric, which means the mattress feels instantly cool when you lie down. It's the feature to care about if overheating regularly wakes you.
- Gel-infused layer. This gel-infused foam responds to your movements and is 5x more breathable than standard memory foam, according to Silentnight. In practice, that means the contouring of foam with less of the heat build-up.
- Pillowtop. A pillowtop surface adds a plush, cushioned top to the mattress. It gives that sink-in, hotel-bed feel rather than a firmer sleeping surface.
- Pocket spring support system. 2000 Mirapocket® springs work independently, which means one side of the bed can move without disturbing the other. The zoning is scientifically proven, Silentnight says, to improve spinal alignment and posture.

Yes for most couples. The UK king gives you 75cm each, which is 7.5cm more per person than the UK double. If one of you sprawls, or a dog regularly joins you, the UK super king gives 90cm each, so the UK king offers 15cm less each by comparison.

Is the UltraGel Pocket 2000 UK king long enough for a tall person?
It's the longer option in this range. At 200cm, or 6ft 6in, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, and it matches the UK super king for length. If height rather than width is your main problem, that extra 10cm over a UK double is the part of the upgrade you'll notice most.
