- Memory foam. A body-conforming memory foam top layer, which means the surface moulds gently to your shape and eases pressure at the shoulders and hips. It gives the mattress its cushioned, pillow-top feel.
- Microsprings. A layer of 2,000 microsprings sits beneath the foam for finely tuned, body-responsive support. These small springs react to movement more quickly than foam, so the mattress feels less sink-in than an all-foam design.
- Eco foam. A high-density eco foam layer aimed at targeted pressure relief. It acts as a transition between the soft surface and the main springs below.
- Insulating fillings. Layers of insulating fillings encase the mattress for stronger edge support. In practice, that means a firmer perimeter when you sit on the side or sleep near the edge.
- Pocket springs. The Sleep Sound Pocket+ system uses individually nested pocket springs, 1,000 of them in the king size, for head-to-toe support. Because each spring moves independently, you're less likely to feel a partner shifting in the night.
