- Pillow top. A cloud-like pillow top adds indulgent comfort, which means a soft initial feel before the support kicks in underneath. It includes an additional layer of cooling natural latex and wool blend.
- Latex. Latex contours to your exact body shape, so pressure points at the hips and shoulders get gentle relief. It has a hypoallergenic finish, helpful if you're sensitive to allergens.
- Silk and cashmere. Silk and cashmere are lustrously soft with outstanding moisture absorption and breathability. In practice, that means a drier, more comfortable sleeping surface through the night.
- Wool and mohair. Three layers of wool sourced from Romney sheep, native to Kent, sit alongside mohair. These fibres are naturally insulating, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.
- Pocket springs. A combination of mini and nano pocket springs offers enhanced support, contouring to every inch of your body. Smaller springs respond independently, so you feel supported rather than suspended.

- Leaves room for everything else: At 3ft x 6ft 3in, the UK single leaves space for a desk, wardrobe and storage in a child's or teenager's bedroom without the bed taking over.
- Fits under a sloping ceiling: The narrow 90cm width means you can tuck the bed along the low side of a loft conversion and keep the full-height part of the room clear.
- Breathable fill for one warm body: The wool, mohair, silk and cashmere absorb moisture and let air through, which suits a teenager who runs hot under a heavy single duvet.
- Medium feel for guests you can't predict: The medium tension sits between soft and firm, so most visitors in a spare room should settle comfortably, although heavier guests may want firmer support.
- Independent springs for a restless sleeper: Each small pocket spring responds on its own, which means a child who shifts position often still gets support that follows their shape.
This size suits you if...
You sleep alone and want natural fibres over pocket springs in a compact footprint, your bedroom is a small box room or loft conversion of at least 2.1m x 2.8m, or you're furnishing a teenager's room or a spare room that also works as a study.
Consider another size if...
You share the bed with a partner, or you'd like room to stretch out sideways. We'd recommend the UK double instead: it gives 67.5cm each for two sharing, and we suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

Is the Sleepeezee Swindale UK single too deep for a bunk bed?
It may be. The Swindale is 32cm deep, and bunk beds, cabin beds and mid sleepers usually set a maximum mattress depth so the guard rail stays high enough to stop a child rolling off. Check the frame maker's stated limit before ordering. If the Swindale exceeds it, it's better on a standard floor-level single frame.
Is a Swindale UK single long enough for a tall adult?
The UK single is 190cm long, or 6ft 3in, which suits most adults and teenagers. If you're tall and your feet reach the end, the UK king is 10cm longer, but it's also 60cm wider, so we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m of floor space for it.
What size room do I need for a Sleepeezee Swindale UK single?
We suggest allowing at least 2.1m x 2.8m. That leaves space to walk around the bed and open a wardrobe door in a typical box room. In a loft conversion, measure where the ceiling is high enough to sit up in bed, as well as the floor area.
Will standard single fitted sheets fit the Swindale UK single?
They may struggle. At 32cm deep, the Swindale is thicker than many single mattresses, so look for a deep-pocket single fitted sheet that states it fits mattresses of that depth. A standard single duvet at 135 x 200cm still works well on top.
Should I get the Swindale in a UK single or UK double for a spare room?
Choose the UK single if your guests usually sleep alone and the room also serves as an office, since it's 45cm narrower than the UK double. If couples stay, the UK double gives 67.5cm each for two sharing, and we suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m for it.
