- Cover. A Belgian Damask viscose sleep surface that feels silky and soft to the touch. It's highly breathable, which helps keep the sleeping environment feeling fresher through the night.
- Comfort fillings. A rich blend of sustainably sourced British wool, cotton, cashmere and silk. These natural fibres breathe well and regulate temperature, so you're less likely to overheat than on synthetic fillings.
- Support system. 9,000 individually pocketed springs with a soft tension. Each spring compresses on its own, which means the mattress contours to your body and limits motion transfer from a partner.

- Room left for everything else: At 90cm wide, the UK single leaves space for a desk, wardrobe and toy storage in a small child's bedroom, and we suggest allowing at least 2.1m x 2.8m.
- Soft tension for lighter sleepers: Children, teens and slighter adults will find the soft springs cushion their shoulders and hips, which means less pressure without needing much body weight to sink in.
- Two singles for flexible guests: Two UK singles side by side in a spare room can host friends who'd rather not share, and the natural fillings breathe well for visitors who run warm.
- A spare room that stays an office: A UK single leaves floor space for a working desk when the room doubles as a study, so it still feels comfortable when guests stay.
- Full 190cm length: The UK single is the same length as the UK double, so a growing teenager gets the same 6ft 3in length an adult double offers.
This size suits you if...
You're buying for a child or teenager who needs a soft, cushioned bed and floor space left for a desk and storage, you sleep alone and want natural fillings in a compact room, or you're kitting out a guest room with two separate beds.
Consider another size if...
You share the bed with a partner, or you want room to sprawl. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which gives 67.5cm each for two sharing; allow at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

Is the Allure 9000 UK single too deep for a cabin bed or mid sleeper?
It may be. The Allure 9000 is 34cm deep, which is a substantial height for a single. Raised frames, including bunks, cabin beds and mid sleepers, usually set a maximum mattress depth so the guard rail stays high enough to stop a child rolling out. Check the frame maker's stated limit before buying for a raised bed.
What room size do I need for an Allure 9000 UK single?
We suggest at least 2.1m x 2.8m of floor space for a UK single. That leaves enough room to walk around the bed and open drawers. It's the most forgiving footprint of any Allure 9000 size, so it's the easiest to fit into a box room or a compact loft conversion.
Is a UK single Allure 9000 long enough for a tall adult?
The UK single is 190cm long, or 6ft 3in, which suits most adults sleeping alone. If you're tall and your feet reach the end, the UK king is 10cm longer. The UK king is also 60cm wider, though, so you'd need at least 2.7m x 2.9m of floor space for it.
Should I get the Allure 9000 in a UK single or UK double for a guest room?
Choose the UK single if your guests usually sleep alone, or if you want two separate beds. A UK double is 45cm wider, gives 67.5cm each for two sharing, and needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m of floor space. Couples will be more comfortable on the UK double.
Do standard single fitted sheets fit the Allure 9000 UK single?
Single sheets match the 90 x 190cm footprint, but the 34cm depth is more than many standard fitted sheets allow for. Look for deep-pocket single fitted sheets so the corners stay put. A standard single duvet will work fine on top.
