- Belgian Damask Viscose Sleep Surface. A silky soft, highly breathable cover, which means air can move through the sleep surface for a fresher feel through the night.
- Soft White Fibres. Fibre fillings made from 100% polyester with good recovery, so the comfort layer springs back rather than compressing into permanent dips.
- Cotton. A natural filling that helps regulate body temperature while adding a layer of support. Useful if you tend to run warm in bed.
- 1000 Pocket Springs. Each spring sits in its own fabric pocket and works independently, which means the mattress responds to your shape rather than the bed as a whole. That translates to better pressure relief and less motion transfer between partners.

Is the Indulgence 1000 UK super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For occasional visits, yes. Each adult has 90cm to start with, so a small child in the middle takes space from both of you without pushing anyone to the edge. Because the 1,000 pocket springs work independently, a child climbing in is less likely to jolt the whole bed than on an open coil mattress.
Indulgence 1000 UK super king vs UK king: how much extra space do you get?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king and the same length, so every bit of the extra goes into width. For two people sharing, that works out at 15cm more each. It needs more floor space too: we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m, compared with 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king.
Is a UK super king mattress good for a restless partner?

Will the Indulgence 1000 super king fit in a loft conversion bedroom?
Floor area comes first: we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for this size. In a loft, though, the sloping ceiling decides where the bed can go, so put the headboard where you can sit up without hitting the slope. Check the door can still swing open past the corner of the bed too.
Is the Indulgence 1000 super king a good size if my dog sleeps on the bed?
If a large dog joins you every night, the 180cm width gives you a realistic chance of keeping your own space. The traditional hand-tufted build has a supportive, medium firm surface, so a dog curled at your feet shouldn't create the deep sagging dip you might get on a softer mattress.
