- Standard foam. A polyurethane foam layer at 33 kg/m3 density that cushions you from the springs. It's a simple comfort layer, so expect gentle padding rather than the deep hug of memory foam.
- Stiff felt. A firm felt layer that protects the springs and adds structure. You won't feel it directly, but it helps the mattress keep its shape.

Is the Ikea Valevag UK king big enough for two people?
For most couples, yes. The UK king gives 75cm each for two sharing, which is comfortable if you both sleep fairly still. If one of you sprawls or a dog regularly joins you, the UK super king gives 90cm each, though it needs more floor space.
Is the Ikea Valevag king long enough for a tall partner?
