Layer Details
- Upholstery - Top Layer. Crafted exclusively from natural fillings: horsehair, bonded British fleece wool and cotton. These fibres breathe naturally, which means better temperature regulation than synthetic foam layers.
- Upholstery - Middle Layer. A blended British fleece wool and cotton layer. This sits between you and the springs, adding a softer transition so you feel cushioning before the firm support beneath.
- Spring System. Hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 1,326 vanadium steel pocket springs in a single layer. Each spring works independently, which means support tailored to your shape and less motion transfer across the bed.

- Distance from a restless partner: At 90cm each you get 15cm more width per person than on the UK king, which means a partner who turns all night is usually that bit further away.
- Room when the household piles in: When children or a large dog end up in the bed, the extra 30cm over the UK king means whoever sleeps nearest the edge still keeps a usable share.
- Movement stays on their side: Across the full 180cm width, the 1,326 pocket springs respond to each sleeper separately, so less of a partner's shifting travels over to you.
- In proportion with a big room: In a period house or a generous master bedroom, 6ft x 6ft 6in fills the space properly where a UK king can look slightly undersized.
- Width without extra length: The UK super king and the UK king share the same 200cm length, so you are choosing purely on width and your room's depth needs stay the same.
This size suits you if...
You share with a restless partner, or with children and dogs who regularly find their way in, and your bedroom comfortably clears our suggested minimum of 3m x 2.9m.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is under 3m x 2.9m, or a sloping loft ceiling leaves no wall wide enough. We'd recommend the UK king instead, which needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m.

Is the Vispring Baronet Superb super king worth it over the king?
It depends on how much you are disturbed at night. The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, giving 90cm each against 75cm each, so a partner who fidgets is 15cm further from you. If you both sleep still, the UK king gives you the same firm feel in a smaller room.
How much space per person on a Vispring Baronet Superb UK super king?
Two people sharing get 90cm each. That compares with 75cm each on the UK king version, which is the only other size Vispring makes this mattress in. The length is 200cm on both, so the extra room is all in the width.
Will a Vispring Baronet Superb super king fit a loft conversion bedroom?
Only if the room clears our suggested minimum of 3m x 2.9m with usable headroom along the wall the bed sits against. In most attic rooms the slope decides where the headboard goes, so measure the full-height wall first. If it falls short, the UK king needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m.
Is a firm UK super king a good choice if the kids sleep in with us?
The width helps most here: 180cm means two adults and a small child can share without anyone clinging to the edge. The Firm tension suits back and front sleepers, although lightweight side sleepers may find it a little unyielding, and that applies to children curled on their side too.
Is the UK super king the biggest size of the Vispring Baronet Superb?
Yes. Vispring makes the Baronet Superb in UK king and UK super king only, and the UK super king at 180 x 200cm is the larger. There is no smaller option, so if neither suits your room, this model is not the one for you.
