- Upholstery. Entirely natural fillings of bonded and blended British fleece wool and cotton, encased in high-quality ticking, which means good breathability and a softer, more forgiving surface than synthetic alternatives. It is hand-tufted with felt washers, so the fillings are anchored in place and far less likely to shift or lump over time.
- Springs. A single layer of 1,558 hand-nested vanadium steel pocket springs in calico pockets, counted on the King size model. Each spring works independently, which means the mattress responds to your shape and reduces the ripple of movement from a partner turning over.

Will the Vispring Dartington Soft UK single fit in a small bedroom?
In most cases, yes. The UK single is 90cm wide and 190cm long, and we suggest a room of at least 2.1m x 2.8m so you can still open drawers and walk round the bed. That is the smallest footprint of any size this mattress comes in, which is why it suits box rooms and children's bedrooms.
Can I put a Vispring Dartington single on a mid sleeper or cabin bed?
Check the frame first. Raised beds usually state a maximum mattress depth so the guard rail stays effective, and the Dartington has a 21cm base with around 6cm of doming on top. Compare both figures against the frame maker's limit before ordering, because a traditional domed mattress sits taller than many slim bunk mattresses.
