- Coir. A layer of coir, a natural coconut fibre, forms part of the filling composition. It adds resilience and helps air move through the mattress.
- Platinum certified British fleece wool. British fleece wool, Platinum certified, is layered around the springs. Wool wicks moisture and regulates temperature, which means a drier, more comfortable sleeping surface through the night.
- Cotton. Cotton is layered around the springs alongside the wool. It is soft and breathable, softening the feel of the firm springs beneath.
- Vanadium pocket springs. The king size contains 1,254 vanadium steel, six turn pocket springs, each in its own calico pocket. Individual pockets mean the springs move independently, so you feel less of your partner's movement and get support shaped to your body.

Is the Vispring Elite Firm super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For occasional visits, yes. Two adults get 90cm each, which is 15cm more each than the UK king offers, so a small child tucked between you takes space from a generous share rather than a tight one. If a child sleeps with you every night, the extra width of the UK super king makes a noticeable difference to how well the adults sleep.

If a restless partner is the main reason you are buying, we'd lean towards the UK super king. The pocket springs move independently, which helps with either size, but the UK super king adds 30cm of width, giving you 15cm more space each. We suggest allowing at least 3m x 2.9m for a UK super king, so measure the room before anything else. Check the door swing and where bedside tables will sit. Is the Vispring Elite Firm super king a good choice if my dog sleeps on the bed?
If a large dog shares the bed as a matter of routine, the UK super king is the more sensible of the two sizes.
