- Cover. An elegant damask cover with tailored handles and tape edging. The handles are a practical touch, as a mattress of this build is heavy to rotate.
- Natural fillings. Generous layers of natural fillings including British fleece wool, cotton, bamboo, cashmere, silk, alpaca and layered Shetland wool. Wool and silk regulate temperature naturally, which means fewer overheated nights than you would get from foam.
- Spring system. A double layer of Vispring pocket springs, individually nested in breathable cotton calico, 2,240 springs in all. Calico pockets allow air through and let each spring move independently, so you feel less of your partner's movement.
- Insulator pad. An integrated insulator pad ensures the Hartley performs consistently on both slatted bedsteads and sprung bases. In practice, that means less worry about whether your existing frame will suit it.
