- Top upholstery. Layered British fleece wool and cotton with bamboo, which gives exceptional softness directly beneath you. These natural fibres are highly breathable, so the surface stays temperate rather than trapping heat.
- Support layer. Horsehair, a traditional filling prized for durability and resilience. It acts as a natural spring beneath the softer top layers, helping the mattress keep its shape over time.
- Spring layer. Hand-nested calico pocket springs made from vanadium steel, with 1,720 springs in the 150 x 200cm size. It's a single layer of springs that move independently, which means support adapts to your body and you feel less of your partner's movement.
- Base upholstery. Bonded British fleece wool and cotton with a built-in wool pad. This safeguards the mattress against wear from beneath, protecting the fillings where they meet the bedstead.
