- Top upholstery layer. Hand-opened Austrian Moosburger® horsetail with hand-teased real Shetland wool blended with cashmere and mohair. Horsetail gives a resilient, breathable surface, while the wool blend adds soft, temperature-regulating comfort directly beneath you.
- Middle upholstery layer. Blended real Shetland wool and cotton. This sits between the comfort layer and the springs, which means the cushioning feels progressive rather than letting you sink straight onto the spring unit.
- Spring layer. A two-layer, hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 2,812 vanadium steel pocket springs in the 150 x 200cm size. Two tiers of independent springs respond to both light and deeper pressure, so you get contouring and firm underlying support at once.
- Base upholstery layer. Blended real Shetland wool and cotton again, this time beneath the springs. It protects the spring unit and gives the mattress a stable, quiet foundation.
