- Spring Layer. A hand-nested calico pocket spring unit with 1,476 springs in the 150 x 200cm (5ft x 6ft 6in) size. Each spring works independently, which means your hips and shoulders get support exactly where they press down.
- Upholstery. Made exclusively from natural fillings: a British fleece wool spring protector pad, bonded British fleece wool and cotton, horsehair, and blended British fleece wool and cotton. These materials breathe and wick moisture, so the sleep surface stays temperate rather than trapping heat the way synthetic foams can.
- Ticking and Finishing. Finished in fine-quality ticking and hand tufted with felt washers. Tufting holds the fillings firmly in place, which means less settling and fewer lumps over the years.
- Borders. The borders are upholstered with protective wool and finished with two rows of hand side-stitching, horizontal handles and air vents. Side-stitching firms up the edges, so the mattress feels usable across its full width.

Is the Vispring Supreme super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For most families, yes. You get 180 x 200cm, or 90cm each for two adults, and the side-stitched edges keep the outer strip supportive, so nobody is pushed onto a soft rim. A child who arrives every night will still take some of that space. The UK super king simply gives more of it back than a smaller size would.

If you're a couple moving up from a UK double, the step is a big one. The UK super king is 45cm wider and 10cm longer, giving you 22.5cm more each than the 67.5cm per person a UK double allows. The trade-off is floor space: we suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m for the UK double against 3m x 2.9m here.
Will a super king Vispring Supreme fit in a loft conversion bedroom?
It can, but the roof slope usually decides which wall the bed takes. You need standing height on the side you climb in, and at 200cm long the bed needs a wall with enough headroom behind it. Measure the usable floor rather than the whole room, and allow at least 3m x 2.9m of it.
