Comfort fillings
Cashmere and wool fillings give a luxuriously soft, gentle natural feel with breathability and moisture-wicking, which means you're less likely to overheat. They regulate temperature naturally across the seasons.
Support system
2,000 pocket springs, each encased in its own cloth pocket, adapt to your movement individually. That translates to personalised support and better weight distribution than springs that move as a single unit.
Layer details from mattressonline.co.uk product page, September 2026.
- 90cm each for two sharers: With 90cm each for two people sharing, a restless partner is simply further away, and distance does more for undisturbed sleep than any comfort layer can.
- 2,000 pocket springs across a wide surface: Each spring moves independently, which means movement on one side of a 180cm-wide bed barely registers on the other.
- Room for the whole household: If children or a large dog treat your bed as theirs, this size means everyone still gets a fair share rather than you clinging to the edge.
- Natural fillings suit shared warmth: Cashmere and wool wick moisture and regulate temperature, useful when two bodies, and sometimes more, are warming the same mattress.
- Medium feel for mixed preferences: A medium rating tends to work when two sharers want different things, although some owners find it slightly firmer than expected.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a UK king still feels like a compromise, your bedroom comfortably clears 3m x 2.9m, or your nights regularly include children or pets and you want everyone to have space without anyone hanging off the side. It also suits couples where one person is a genuinely restless sleeper.
Consider another size if...
Your room is under our suggested 3m x 2.9m minimum, or you sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK king instead: it's 30cm narrower, the same length, and needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m.

Is a UK super king too big for my bedroom?
It might be. The mattress is 180 x 200cm, and we suggest a room of at least 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling comfortable. Measure with wardrobe doors and drawer pulls in mind, because a bed this wide can leave surprisingly little walking room in an average master bedroom.
Is the Aspire Natural Cashmere 2000 super king good for restless partners?
It's one of the better choices. You get 90cm each for two people sharing, so most movement happens well away from you, and the individually pocketed springs absorb motion locally rather than sending it across the bed. If one of you tosses and turns, the width does as much work as the springs.
Will the super king Aspire Natural Cashmere 2000 fit up my stairs?
This is the size where staircases start to bite. At 180cm wide, a boxed or rolled mattress usually manages, but check your landing turns, door swings and any low ceilings first. If access is tight, measure the narrowest point of the route before ordering rather than hoping on delivery day.
Is a super king worth it for a family who co-sleep?
Often, yes. If children wander in during the night, the 180cm width means the adults keep a reasonable share instead of being pushed to the edges. The cashmere and wool fillings also help with the extra warmth several bodies generate, so the bed stays more comfortable when it's crowded.

Compare the retailers listed on this page. The prices shown here are updated as retailers change them, so it's the quickest way to see current availability for this size. Stock for the largest sizes can move around more than for a UK double or UK king, so it's worth checking back if it's unavailable.
