Pocket springs
1000 Cortec Quad Revolution springs sit in cloth pockets and are grouped in fours, with mini springs inside the regular springs. This is the main support layer, so it is what gives the mattress its firm, held-up feel.
Mini pocket springs
A layer of 1000 Posturfil springs, plus an extra 7500 mini springs, sits above the main springs for contouring. It adds some shape-following give on top of the firm support below.
Wool, hemp and flax blend layer
Layers of wool, hemp and flax are blended to improve breathability. Air can move through the mattress more easily, which helps if you tend to feel the heat at night.
Cotton, hemp and flax layer
An extra layer of cotton, hemp and flax wicks moisture away. That should help the surface feel drier and fresher while you sleep.
Wool comfort layer
The top layer is 100% traceable British wool, which gives a plush surface. It softens the feel at the top, though the mattress overall is still firm.
