- Comfort fillings. A blend of wool, cotton, hemp and flax fibre layers sits at the top. The wool cushions around you for a plush feel, and its natural insulating and breathable properties help regulate temperature through the night.
- Mini Pocket Springs. 8,000 mini pocket springs mould around your unique body shape for enhanced comfort. Their small size also creates pockets of airflow, which means less heat build up than a solid comfort layer.
- Posturfil Springs. 1,300 Posturfil springs with a flexible design sit beneath. Their mini size helps them conform more closely to your shape, offering more points of contact and, in practice, more even pressure relief.
- Cortec Quad Springs. The base layer uses 7,000 award-winning Cortec Quad springs, grouped in fours within fabric pockets and made without glue for flexibility. They respond to your weight and movements, giving your back extra support.

- 75cm each, every night: Two people sharing get 75cm each, which means you can turn over without negotiating for territory or waking the person next to you.
- Pocket springs limit partner disturbance: The 16,300 springs move independently, so if one of you gets up hours before the other, the movement is far less likely to travel across the bed.
- Extra length for taller sleepers: At 200cm long, the UK king adds 10cm over the UK double, which is the difference between feet on the mattress and feet hanging off it.
- Cushioning without crowding: A soft to medium feel invites you to spread out and settle in, and the UK king's width means you can do that without drifting into your partner's half.
- Breathable across a bigger surface: Wool, hemp and flax fillings breathe well, and with two warm bodies on one mattress the natural temperature regulation is felt more, not less.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a double has started to feel tight, you or your partner keep different hours and want movement to stay on one side of the bed, or one of you is approaching six foot and needs the 200cm length. It also suits couples whose dog treats the bed as its own, taking more than its fair share of a smaller mattress.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is under our suggested minimum of 2.7m x 2.9m, or you sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs a slightly smaller room at 2.6m x 2.8m. If space allows and you want maximum room apiece, the UK super king is 30cm wider.

Is the Harrison Spinks Jade 10000 in a UK king good for couples?
Yes, and it's arguably the size this mattress makes most sense in for two people. You get 75cm each for two people sharing, and the layered pocket springs respond to each sleeper separately, so one person shifting position shouldn't ripple across to the other. Lightweight couples in particular will appreciate the gentle, cushioned feel.
What room size do I need for the UK king Jade 10000?
We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, which leaves enough room to walk around the bed and open drawers. Measure with your wardrobes in place: new build master bedrooms often feel roomy on the plans, then shrink once the furniture is in. If you're borderline, the UK double needs 2.6m x 2.8m.
Is the UK king Jade 10000 long enough for tall sleepers?
At 200cm, or 5ft x 6ft 6in in imperial, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, and for anyone approaching six foot that length is often the real reason to upgrade. If you're taller still and want more width too, the UK super king is 30cm wider at the same length.
Will I feel my partner moving on the king size Jade 10000?
Less than on most mattresses. The three spring layers, including 8,000 mini pocket springs and the glue-free Cortec Quad base, each compress independently under whoever is moving. Combined with the UK king's 150cm width, an early riser slipping out at 5am has a decent chance of leaving the other side undisturbed.
Should I choose the king or super king in this mattress?
The UK king suits most couples: plenty of space each without the room demands of the bigger size. The UK super king is 30cm wider, the same length, and needs a room of at least 3m x 2.9m. Go bigger if a child or dog regularly joins you and your bedroom can take it.
