Layer Details
- Comfort fillings. British wool comfort layers sit at the top, which means natural insulation in winter and breathability in summer. Wool also handles moisture well, so the sleep surface should stay fresher for longer.
- Mini Pocket Springs. 1,300 Posturfil mini springs flex as you move, while 8,000 mini pocket springs mould around your body shape. In practice this feels like close, even contouring rather than a single firm push.
- Moisture wicking layer. A blend of soft cotton, hemp and flax fibres forms a breathable barrier against moisture build-up. If you're a hot or sweaty sleeper, this layer does quiet but useful work.
- Support system. 700 Cortec Quad springs form the base, grouped into fours and encased within a fabric pocket. This gives adaptable, responsive support across your whole body rather than just under the heaviest points.

- Real personal space for couples: At 75cm each for two people sharing, you can settle into your own contoured patch of mattress rather than negotiating a shared dip.
- Less disturbance on different schedules: If one of you gets up hours before the other, the 9,700 individually pocketed springs respond locally, so movement on one side carries less across the bed.
- Length for taller sleepers: The UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double at 200cm, which for anyone approaching six foot means heels on the mattress rather than the footboard.
- Soft feel that rewards room to sprawl: A soft to medium surface invites position changes through the night, and the extra width means you can shift without drifting into your partner's half.
- Breathable fillings across a bigger surface: Wool, cotton, hemp and flax layers wick moisture, useful when two people share and the bed has more warmth to shed.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a double has started to feel like a compromise, or one of you is on an early shift and the other would rather not know about it. It also suits couples where one partner is tall, since the 200cm length gives genuine stretching room, or households where the dog has quietly become a permanent third occupant.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is under our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m minimum, or you sleep alone. In either case we'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m. If space is generous and you both spread out, the UK super king is 30cm wider still.

Is a UK king Harrison Spinks Jade 10000 big enough for a couple?
Yes, comfortably for most. It gives 75cm each for two people sharing, and the soft to medium contouring means each sleeper settles into their own side rather than rolling to the middle. If one of you is broad shouldered and you both spread out, the UK super king adds another 30cm of width at the same length.
Will the king size Jade 10000 suit a partner over six foot?
The 200cm length is the quiet advantage here. The UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double as well as 15cm wider, so a taller sleeper gets their feet on the mattress rather than hanging over the end. Only the UK super king matches that length among larger sizes; the two are the same length.
What room size do I need for the Jade 10000 in a UK king?
We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m, with more feeling noticeably better once wardrobes and bedside tables are in. New build master bedrooms can be tighter than they first appear, so measure the usable floor after furniture. If the room falls short, the UK double needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m and gives up only 15cm of width.
Does the king size reduce partner disturbance on this mattress?
It helps in two ways. The 9,700 pocketed springs respond where you press rather than tilting the whole surface, so an early riser causes less ripple. The width does the rest: at 75cm each for two people sharing, you're less likely to be lying close enough to feel movement at all.
How big is the Jade 10000 in a UK king in feet?
It measures 150 x 200cm, which is 5ft x 6ft 6in. That makes it 15cm wider and 10cm longer than the UK double, and 30cm narrower than the UK super king. Check the retailers listed on this page for the king specifically, as prices shown here are updated as retailers change them.
