No. Harrison Spinks offers dual tension, a different feel on each side, only in the UK king and UK super king. In a UK double you choose one tension for the whole mattress, medium or firm, so you and your partner will need to agree on a feel you can both live with.
Is the Pure Splendour UK double big enough for a couple?
For most couples, yes. Two people sharing get 67.5cm each, and the pocket springs respond to small movements individually, so one restless sleeper disturbs the other less than on an open-coil bed. If either of you is broad-shouldered or you sleep with pets or children visiting, the UK king is 15cm wider and 10cm longer.
What size room do I need for the Pure Splendour in a UK double?
We suggest a minimum of 2.6m x 2.8m, which allows you to walk round the bed and open drawers. Around 3m x 3m is the comfortable norm, giving space for bedside tables on both sides and a wardrobe. Most UK master bedrooms, and many second bedrooms, manage this without trouble.
