- Cool-to-the-touch fabric cover. The top cover is designed to feel cool when you first lie down. It's a small thing, but a pleasant one on warm nights.
- Nectatex® memory foam. This layer cushions pressure points at the shoulders and hips. Nectar states it's 30x more breathable than regular memory foam, so it should trap less heat than the memory foam of old.
- Dynamic support foam. A transition layer that promotes spinal alignment, which means your back stays in a more neutral position as you sink into the comfort layer above.
- Nectacoil® pocket springs. Each spring flexes independently to adapt to your body, giving more personalised support than foam alone. The springs also improve airflow and help minimise motion transfer between partners.
- High-density foam. A firmer foam surround encases the spring layer to shore up the edges. This helps prevent that roll-off feeling when you sleep near the side of the bed.

Is the Nectar Elite Cool Hybrid super king big enough when children climb in at night?
It is the size we'd point you to for exactly that. At 180cm wide there is 90cm each for two adults, so a small visitor in the middle still leaves everyone a reasonable share. The pocket springs also keep their wriggling from travelling across the mattress, which helps whoever is furthest away stay asleep.
How much bigger is the super king than the king in this mattress?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and the two are the same length. For couples that means 90cm each rather than 75cm, so 15cm more per person. If sharing feels cramped on a UK king, the extra width is the difference; if it doesn't, the UK king saves you money on the mattress and bedding.
Will the Nectar Elite Cool Hybrid super king fit in a 3m by 3m bedroom?
Yes, though snugly. We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for a super king, so a 3m x 3m room clears our minimum with little to spare for wardrobes or walking space. Around 3.5m x 3.2m feels comfortable. Measure with the door swing in mind before you commit, because at this size a few centimetres matter.
Is the super king worth it for a restless partner?
If a fidgeting partner is the main reason your sleep breaks, this is the strongest argument for the size. The Nectacoil® springs flex independently to dampen movement, and 90cm of width each adds plain distance on top. Between the two, most of what your partner does at 2am simply stops reaching you.
Can a couple and a large dog share the Nectar Elite Cool Hybrid super king?
