- Damask cover. A finely woven, durable fabric that feels soft to the touch and doesn't retain heat. That matters on a firm mattress, where you sleep more on the surface than in it.
- Silk and polyester fibre blend. A blend of silk and polyester fibres sits beneath the cover for extra comfort and breathability. It takes a little of the edge off the firm feel.
- Soft white fibres. Dual density fibres, plush on one side and dense on the other, deliver the firm comfort while increasing airflow through the mattress. Better airflow means less heat building up overnight.
- Pocket springs. 1000 individual springs, each encased in its own fabric pocket, respond to your movements independently. You get support where you press down without disturbing the rest of the bed.

- 7.5cm more space each than a UK double: The UK double gives 67.5cm each for two sharing, so the UK king gives 7.5cm more each, a difference you feel every night on a firm surface.
- Pocket springs work better with distance: The 1000 individual pocket springs already keep movement local, and at 75cm each the UK king adds physical separation, so an early riser disturbs you even less.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, which back and front sleepers over six foot will notice at their feet.
- Firm support across the full width: Because the Leano is genuinely firm, the edges stay usable rather than sagging, so the full 150cm width is sleeping space.
- Room to change position: The fibre layers soften the surface slightly, but repositioning through the night is easier when you have space to move without meeting your partner.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and the UK double has started to feel cramped, especially with a firm mattress that keeps you both on the surface. Or one of you gets up hours before the other, and the combination of pocket springs and extra width means fewer disturbed mornings. It also suits taller back and front sleepers who need the 200cm length.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom falls short of the 2.7m x 2.9m we suggest for a UK king. In that case the UK double would suit you better, needing at least 2.6m x 2.8m while still sleeping two.

Is the Relyon Leano 1000 in a UK king big enough for a couple?
Comfortably, for most. You get 75cm each for two people sharing, which is 7.5cm more each than the UK double offers. Because this is a firm mattress, you sleep on top of it rather than in it, so that extra width is genuinely usable space rather than lost to sinkage.
Will the UK king Relyon Leano fit my bedroom?
We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, with 3.2m x 3.2m comfortable. That allows walking space and bedside tables on both sides. New build master bedrooms can be tighter than they look once wardrobes go in, so measure the usable floor space, not the room on the plan.
Does the UK king reduce partner disturbance on this mattress?
It helps in two ways. The 1000 pocket springs respond independently, so movement stays local rather than travelling across the bed, and the UK king's 150cm width puts more distance between you. If one of you leaves for work hours before the other, both work in your favour.
Is this size long enough for someone over six foot?
At 200cm, or 6ft 6in, it gives most tall sleepers clear room at the feet. That's 10cm more length than the UK double, and for many taller people the length is the real reason to size up, with the width a bonus. The UK super king is the same length, so going wider adds nothing here.
Should I choose a UK king or a UK super king in the Relyon Leano?
The UK super king is 30cm wider, giving 90cm each for two sharing against the UK king's 75cm. It needs a bigger room though: we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king. If a dog routinely claims part of the bed, or you both like space, the step up may justify itself.
