- Soft, cooling cover. A zip-off, washable cover with Stratos tech that prevents heat build-up, which means you can keep it fresh without wrestling the whole mattress. Hot sleepers should notice the difference on warm nights.
- Bamboo infused wool layer. British wool infused with moisture-wicking bamboo for better breathability. Wool naturally regulates temperature, so this layer helps in winter as well as summer.
- Fresh Simbatex foam layer. Simba's own foam with enhanced airflow and superior elasticity, which means cushioning that springs back quickly rather than leaving you feeling stuck.
- Two layers of Aerocoil springs. A double layer of patented microsprings arranged in thirteen supportive zones. These target parts of the body with specific needs, like your back, hips and shoulders.
- Stabilising core foam layer. A CertiPUR foam layer that provides structural support and extra airflow. It keeps the layers above it working consistently.
- Micro spring support layer. An extra layer of up to 900 high carbon steel microsprings for maximum support. This is where the mattress earns its medium-firm side.
- SupportCore sprung base. Up to 1,000 pocketed, tempered steel barrel springs giving firm, edge-to-edge support with no roll-off. That means you can use the full width of the bed, right to the edge.
- High-density foam base and cover. CertiPUR foam with a breathable cover made from recycled yarn. It gives the whole mattress its stability.

Is the Simba Hybrid Luxe super king worth it over the UK king?
If you're regularly disturbed by a partner, yes. The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and that gap is the difference between feeling every turn and barely noticing. Given the Luxe is already a premium purchase, the step up buys you space rather than construction, so weigh it against your room size first.
Can a couple and a young child share the Simba Hybrid Luxe super king?
It copes better than any smaller size. Two adults get 90cm each, so when a child wanders in at 3am there's a workable share for everyone. The firm edge-to-edge support from the sprung base also means whoever ends up at the side isn't clinging on. It's a squeeze some nights, but a manageable one.

Does the super king size actually help with a restless partner?
More than any layer inside the mattress, in our view. The pocketed springs in the Luxe already limit motion transfer, but 90cm each for two people sharing means most movement simply happens too far away to wake you. If disturbed sleep is your main complaint, size is the lever to pull.
Is the Simba Hybrid Luxe super king a good choice if a large dog shares the bed?
It's the size we'd pick for that. A dog stretched across the foot of a UK double leaves two adults cramped; across 180cm of width there's room to spare. The washable zip-off cover is a practical bonus with pets, and the cooling layers help offset the extra body heat.
