- Cover. A breathable stretch fabric cover. It flexes with the layers beneath, so you feel the foam's contouring rather than a taut surface.
- Foam. High-performance ErgoSense foam relieves pressure and promotes healthy blood circulation, which means less tossing and turning to relieve numb spots. It's the layer that gives the mattress its medium, cushioned feel.
- Springs. Individually pocketed springs, 1,000 of them in the king size, move independently rather than as one unit. That means better spinal alignment and less disturbance when a partner shifts in the night.

Is the Ergo Deluxe UK super king worth it over the UK king?
If space is your main complaint, probably yes. The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, giving each of you 15cm more, and the two are the same length. The trade-off is room size: we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, against 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king.
Is a UK super king Ergo Deluxe big enough with a child in the bed?
For the occasional night-time visitor, it usually is. You start with 90cm each, and the firmer DynamicEdge perimeter means the adult pushed to the side can still lie near the edge without feeling they might roll off. If a child joins you every night, all that width stops being a luxury and becomes the reason to buy.
Will I feel my partner moving on the Ergo Deluxe super king?
Less than on a narrower size. The pocket springs move individually, so a shift on one side stays mostly on that side, and the 90cm each puts real distance between you. A very restless sleeper may still register now and then, but the combination of distance and individual springs is about as much separation as a single mattress offers.
What should I measure before ordering a UK super king mattress?
Check the bedroom first, then the route to it. We suggest a room of at least 3m x 2.9m, and around 3.5m x 3.2m feels comfortable. Also look at how the bedroom door swings past the bed, and any tight turn on the landing. Budget for bigger bedding too, as you'll need super king sheets and a 260 x 220cm duvet.
Can a UK super king go in a loft conversion bedroom?
It can, but the sloped ceiling usually decides where it goes. At 180 x 200cm, the bed needs a wall with full standing height along its head end, and enough floor space on either side for you to get in and out without stooping. If the only full-height wall is short, the UK king is the safer choice.
