- Cover. A damask cover finished with traditional woollen tufts, which hold the fillings in place so they settle less over time. Tufting gives a slightly dimpled surface rather than a smooth quilted top.
- Comfort layers. A blend of natural British wool, mohair, cashmere and silk, including three layers of wool from Romney sheep native to Kent. These fibres breathe well, which means better temperature regulation than foam-heavy alternatives.
- Spring system. Responsive pocket springs combining mini and nano springs, which contour to every inch of your body. Each spring moves independently, so you feel less of a partner's movement in the night.
- Edge support. Enhanced side support creates a durable border, reinforced with three rows of traditional hand side stitching. This prevents dipping at the edges, so the full sleeping surface stays usable.

- A full 90cm each: Two adults get 90cm of width apiece, which means a partner who turns over repeatedly is a lot further away than on a UK king.
- Distance plus independent springs: The pocket springs move individually, so the extra width and the spring system together keep a restless sleeper's movement largely on their own side.
- Edges you can use: Three rows of hand side stitching firm up the border, which matters on a bed this wide because whoever gets squeezed to the edge by a child still has support there.
- Cooler with a crowd: British wool, mohair and silk breathe well, which helps when two adults, a toddler or a dog are adding body heat to the same surface.
- In proportion in a large room: In a spacious period bedroom or a generous master, a UK king can look a little lost, whereas the UK super king fills the space properly.
- Firm under more weight: The firm tension keeps the surface steady when a large dog jumps up, although lightweight side sleepers may find it a little unyielding.

Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than 3m x 2.9m, or a tight landing and door swing leave little clearance. We'd recommend the UK king instead, and we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it.

Is the Sleepeezee Ribble super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For occasional night visits, yes. Two adults get 90cm each across the 180cm width, so a small child can climb in without anyone ending up on the edge. If someone does get pushed out, the hand stitched border stays supportive. Nightly co-sleeping with an older child will still feel snug.
How much wider is the Ribble super king than the Ribble king?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and both are the same 200cm length. Split between two sleepers, that gives each of you 15cm more. You need more floor for it, though: we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, against 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king.
Will a Sleepeezee Ribble super king help with a restless partner?
It is the best size in the range for this. The 90cm each puts real distance between you, and the individually moving pocket springs stop much of their movement travelling across the bed. Across the range, only the UK super king gives you both of those together.
Will a super king Ribble fit in a loft conversion bedroom?
Only if the full-height floor area allows for it. Allow at least 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling more comfortable. In a loft conversion, the sloping ceiling usually decides which wall the headboard goes against, so measure where you can stand up at the sides of the bed as well as the footprint.
Is the Ribble super king a good size if our dog sleeps on the bed?
It is the most practical size for a large dog that sleeps with you every night, because the 180cm width lets the dog take the foot or a corner while you both keep your own space. The firm tension also means the surface doesn't sag where the dog settles.
