Layer Details
- Pillow top. A pillow top sewn onto the sleep surface, which means an extra layer of cushioning before you reach the springs. It gives the mattress its plush, sink-in first impression.
- Knitted cover. A soft knitted cover over the top of the mattress. Knitted fabric stretches more than woven, so it flexes with the layers beneath rather than pulling the surface taut.
- Springs. 2,500 pocketed springs in total: 1,500 mini comfort springs and 1,000 traditional pocketed springs. The mini springs respond to smaller pressure points while the full-size springs below provide the core support.

- More room each: At 75cm per person, the UK king gives each of you 7.5cm more than a UK double, which means fewer elbows and less shuffling for space.
- Extra length for taller partners: The 200cm length is 10cm longer than a UK double, so a partner approaching 6ft is far less likely to have their feet reach the end.
- Soft enough for two side sleepers: The medium soft feel lets shoulders and hips sink in a little, and on a UK king you both have room to turn onto your side without meeting in the middle.
- Space for extra pillows: A pregnancy pillow or a stack of support cushions takes up real width, and the UK king leaves room for them without pushing your partner to the edge.
- A comfortable middle ground: The UK king offers more space than a UK double without needing the 3m x 2.9m we suggest for a UK super king.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and keep waking each other on a UK double, or one of you is tall enough to want the extra 10cm of length. It also suits you if you both sleep on your side and like a softer, more cushioned surface.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than the 2.7m x 2.9m we suggest for a UK king. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

Is the Sleepeezee Serene 2500 UK king big enough for two people?
For most couples, yes. The UK king gives you 75cm each, which is 7.5cm more per person than a UK double. That is often enough to stop you brushing against each other every time one of you turns over, particularly if you go to bed and get up at different times.
Should I get the Sleepeezee Serene 2500 in a UK king or a UK super king?
The UK super king gives 90cm each, which is 15cm more per person than the UK king, and the two sizes are the same length. If you have plenty of room and want the most personal space possible, size up. Otherwise the UK king gives most couples enough space and fits a smaller room.
Is the Sleepeezee Serene 2500 UK king long enough for tall people?
At 200cm (6ft 6in), the UK king is 10cm longer than a UK double. If one of you is approaching 6ft, that extra length usually means you can stretch out without your feet hanging over the end. The UK super king is the same length, so sizing up only adds width.
Will the Sleepeezee Serene 2500 UK king fit my existing double bed frame?
No. The UK king is 15cm wider and 10cm longer than a UK double, so it needs a UK king frame or divan base. You'll also need UK king sheets, and a 230 x 220cm duvet will cover it properly.
What size bedroom do I need for a Sleepeezee Serene 2500 UK king?
We suggest a room of at least 2.7m x 2.9m, with 3.2m x 3.2m giving you comfortable space to move around. New build master bedrooms can feel tighter once wardrobes are in, so measure the free floor space rather than the whole room.
