Layer Details
- Top Layer. A 2cm pillow-top of plush filling, which means a soft, cushioned first impression before you reach the firmer support below. It takes a slight edge off the medium/firm feel.
- Cool Gel Foam. A 3cm layer of cool gel foam that slows heat build-up in the mattress. If you're a hot sleeper, this should help you stay comfortable for longer through the night.
- Pocket Springs. 1000 individual pocket springs that conform to your body's shape, supporting you where you need it most. Because each spring moves independently, they also help prevent the roll-together effect that pushes couples into the middle.
- Mini Springs. An additional 2000 mini pocket springs sit within the build for extra comfort and support. These smaller springs respond to lighter pressure, which means a more adaptive feel close to the surface.
- Base. A non-slip fabric base for additional stability. In practice this helps the mattress stay put on slatted or divan bases.

- More room each: You each get 75cm of width, which is 7.5cm more per person than the UK double, enough to stop elbows meeting in the middle.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm, or 6ft 6in, it runs 10cm longer than the UK double, which means feet stay on the mattress rather than hanging over the edge.
- Less disturbance from an early riser: Independent pocket springs combined with 75cm of personal space mean a partner getting up hours before you should cause a little less of a jolt.
- Space to shift position: The extra width gives you room for a support pillow or a change of position during pregnancy without pushing your partner towards the edge.
- Fits more rooms than a super king: It gives couples a clear step up in space while needing less floor than the UK super king, for which we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and keep bumping into each other on a UK double, one of you is close to or over six foot and needs the extra length, or your working hours differ and you want a bit more distance from a partner's early alarm.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m once wardrobes are in. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

Is the SleepSoul Heaven 3000 UK king long enough if you're over 6ft?
The UK king is 200cm long, which is 6ft 6in. That makes it 10cm longer than the UK double, so a sleeper around six foot has room at the foot without needing to curl up. The UK super king is the same length, so sizing up adds width but no extra length.
How much space does each person get on a UK king SleepSoul Heaven 3000?
Two people sharing get 75cm each. The UK double gives 67.5cm each, so the UK king adds 7.5cm per person. That difference is enough to stop you meeting in the middle most nights, although it is still less than the 90cm each you'd get on the UK super king.
Will I feel my partner moving on the SleepSoul Heaven 3000 in a UK king?
The 1000 pocket springs work independently, so movement stays fairly local. In a UK king you also have 75cm each, which puts more distance between you than a UK double. A restless partner may still be noticeable, but less than on a narrower size of this mattress.
SleepSoul Heaven 3000 UK king or super king for a couple?
The UK super king is 30cm wider and gives 90cm each, which is 15cm more per person than the UK king. Both are the same length. We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king and at least 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king, so your room often decides it.
Will a SleepSoul Heaven 3000 king fit in a new build master bedroom?
We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, with 3.2m x 3.2m feeling comfortable. New build bedrooms often lose floor space to fitted wardrobes, so measure the clear floor rather than the room on the plan. If you come in under 2.7m x 2.9m, the UK double needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.
