- British fleece wool. A layer of British fleece wool sits at the top for added warmth and comfort. Wool also handles moisture well, which helps the sleeping surface stay fresher.
- Hand-teased horsetail and Devonshire wool. Hand-teased horsetail blended with Devonshire wool creates a soft yet supportive surface. Horsetail is naturally resilient, so it keeps its spring rather than flattening the way cheaper fillings can.
- British fleece wool. A second layer of British fleece wool sits between the comfort fillings and the springs. It cushions the transition so you feel support without any sense of the springs beneath.
- Pocket springs. A two-layer, hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 2,030 vanadium steel springs in the 150 x 200cm size. Nesting the springs by hand packs them closely together, which means more responsive, evenly distributed support across the whole mattress.

- More room each than a UK double: The UK king gives 75cm per person, which is 7.5cm more each than the UK double, enough to stop elbows meeting in the middle of the night.
- Length for a taller partner: At 200cm long, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, so feet stay on the mattress rather than hanging off the end.
- Quieter nights on split schedules: The 2,030 independently moving springs in this 150 x 200cm size soak up a partner's movement, which helps when one of you gets up hours earlier.
- Space to shift and prop: The UK king leaves room for a pregnancy pillow or an extra cushion without pushing your partner towards the edge, and the medium-soft surface lets you settle into new positions.
- Room without a super king's footprint: You gain real personal space while needing a smaller bedroom than the UK super king, for which we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and wake when your partner turns over or gets up early, or one of you is tall enough that a UK double feels short. It also suits you if you are expecting and want room for pillows without sleeping on the edge.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m once wardrobes are in. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

Is the Vispring Kingsbridge UK king big enough for two adults?
For most couples, yes. The UK king gives you 75cm each, which is 7.5cm more per person than the UK double. If one of you sprawls, or a dog regularly joins you, the UK super king offers 90cm each, although it needs a noticeably larger room.
Vispring Kingsbridge king or super king for a couple?
The UK king is 30cm narrower than the UK super king and gives 15cm less each, but both are 200cm long. If length is your main concern, the UK king matches the UK super king. Choose the UK super king only if you want more width and your room is at least 3m x 2.9m.
Is the Vispring Kingsbridge UK king long enough for tall sleepers?
At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double and the same length as the UK super king. For a taller partner, that extra length is often the main reason to upgrade, as feet no longer press against the footboard or hang over the end.
What size bedroom do I need for a Vispring Kingsbridge UK king?
We suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m, with around 3.2m x 3.2m feeling comfortable. Measure after wardrobes and bedside tables are in place, because a new build master bedroom can shrink quickly once it is furnished. If you fall short, the UK double needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.
Will I feel my partner move on a Vispring Kingsbridge UK king?
Much less than on a smaller or more basic mattress. The 150 x 200cm size uses 2,030 pocketed springs that move independently, so your partner's movement stays largely on their side. Across the UK king, the 75cm each also puts a little more distance between you than a UK double would.
