- British fleece wool. A layer of British fleece wool sits at the top for added warmth and comfort. Wool also handles moisture well, which helps the sleeping surface stay fresher.
- Hand-teased horsetail and Devonshire wool. Hand-teased horsetail blended with Devonshire wool creates a soft yet supportive surface. Horsetail is naturally resilient, so it keeps its spring rather than flattening the way cheaper fillings can.
- British fleece wool. A second layer of British fleece wool sits between the comfort fillings and the springs. It cushions the transition so you feel support without any sense of the springs beneath.
- Pocket springs. A two-layer, hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 2,030 vanadium steel springs in the 150 x 200cm size. Nesting the springs by hand packs them closely together, which means more responsive, evenly distributed support across the whole mattress.

- A full 90cm each: Two adults sharing get 90cm of width apiece, which means an elbow or a turn in the night is far less likely to reach the other person.
- Distance plus independent springs: The hand-nested calico pockets let each spring move on its own, and on a UK super king you also have the width to keep your partner's movement well away from you.
- Space when the household piles in: If a child wanders in at 3am or the dog has claimed the foot of the bed, the extra width means the adults still get a proper share rather than a narrow edge.
- 30cm wider than the UK king: The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king at the same length, which gives each sleeper 15cm more without adding any length to your room.
- In proportion with a large room: In a generous period bedroom or large master, a 6ft x 6ft 6in bed sits in proportion where a UK king can look slightly lost against the walls.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed with a genuinely restless partner and want real distance between you, or your nights often end with children or a large dog joining in. It also suits you if your bedroom comfortably clears our suggested minimum of 3m x 2.9m.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom falls short of 3m x 2.9m, or you sleep alone and rarely share. We'd recommend the UK king instead, and we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it.

Is the Vispring Kingsbridge super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For occasional night-time visits, yes. Two adults get 90cm each on the UK super king, so a small child can settle between you without anyone ending up on the edge. If it happens every night with older children, you will still feel the squeeze a little, but far less than on a narrower size.
How much more room does the Kingsbridge super king give than the king?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and both are the same length. For a couple, that means 15cm more each, taking you from 75cm per person on the UK king to 90cm per person on the UK super king.
Will a restless partner disturb me less on a Vispring super king?
Usually, yes. The Kingsbridge's springs sit in individual calico pockets, so movement stays fairly local, and the UK super king adds 90cm of personal width on top. Across both, a partner who turns often is much easier to sleep through than on a UK double or UK king.
Will a Vispring Kingsbridge super king fit a loft conversion bedroom?
Only if the floor space works where you can actually stand. Allow at least 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling comfortable, and remember a sloping ceiling usually decides which wall the headboard goes against. Check door swing and landing turns before ordering, too, because a 180cm-wide mattress needs a clear route.
Can a large dog share a Vispring Kingsbridge super king with two people?
It is the most practical size of the Kingsbridge for it. With 90cm each for the two of you, a large dog at the foot or along one side takes space from the spare width rather than from your sleeping area. On a UK king, the same dog would press much closer to you both.
