Layer Details
- Knitted cover with Microquilted finish. A soft knitted cover with a micro-quilted finish, which means a smooth surface with a little extra cosiness and warmth. It's the first thing you'll feel, and it adds a gentle, cushioned touch.
- Soft White Fibres. Soft synthetic polyester fillings sit beneath the cover, wrapping around your shape and easing pressure at the hips and shoulders. The brand describes them as durable and resilient, designed to hold their shape over time.
- Pocket Springs. 1000 pocket springs, each sewn into its own fabric pocket so they move independently. This means support goes where your body needs it most, and movement on one side of the bed transfers less to the other.
Layer details from mattressonline.co.uk product page, September 2026.
- 90cm of width each: Two people sharing get 90cm each, which means you can both stretch out fully rather than negotiating the middle of the bed.
- Distance plus independent springs: The 1000 pocket springs move independently, and at this width there's simply more mattress between you and a fidgeting partner, so disturbance drops on both counts.
- Room for the whole household: When children pad in at 3am or the dog treats the bed as routine, 180cm of width means the adults still get a reasonable share.
- A big bed at a budget price point: Super king mattresses are usually where costs climb steeply, so a sensibly priced pocket spring build makes this size feel less of a stretch.
- Fills a larger master properly: In a period property or generous new build master, a UK king can look undersized; the extra 30cm of width here suits the scale of the room.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and want the most sleeping space any standard UK size offers, a genuinely restless partner keeps waking you and distance would help more than any comfort layer, or children and pets regularly end up in with you and everyone still needs their own patch of mattress.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than the 3m x 2.9m we suggest for this size, or you mostly sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK king instead: it's 30cm narrower, the same length, and needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m.

Is 90cm each enough space on the Bodyshape Boost 1000 super king?
Yes, comfortably. Two people sharing the UK super king get 90cm of width each, the same as a whole UK single per person. Combined with the 1000 pocket springs responding to each sleeper separately, it's the most undisturbed sharing arrangement this mattress offers in any size.
Will the Bodyshape Boost 1000 super king fit in my bedroom?
We suggest a room of at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, and that's our guidance rather than the brand's. That allows walking space around the 180 x 200cm mattress. If your room is tighter, measure carefully before ordering, including door swing and bedside furniture on both sides.
Should I choose the UK king or UK super king in this mattress?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and the two are the same length. If a restless partner or visiting children are the problem, that extra width does more than any change of mattress. If your room is under 3m x 2.9m, the UK king suits you better and needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m.
Is the Bodyshape Boost 1000 super king good for a restless partner?
It's one of the better pairings. Pocket springs already transfer less movement than open-coil designs because each spring sits in its own fabric pocket, and the UK super king adds sheer distance: 90cm each means turning over on one side is far harder to feel on the other.
How big is the Bodyshape Boost 1000 in a UK super king?
It measures 180 x 200cm, or 6ft x 6ft 6in, the largest size stocked as standard in the UK. The soft, cushioned feel is the same across every size, so the decision here is purely about space and whether your room can take it.
