Layer Details
Comfort Layer
Soft White Fibres, a synthetic filling, create the cosy top feel. They're durable and resilient, so the layer holds its shape over time rather than flattening quickly.
Mini Pocket Springs (Top)
Two layers of springs, 4000 HD and 2500 HD, sit near the surface. They give a bouncy feel and improve airflow, which means less heat building up around you overnight.
Mini Pocket Springs (Additional)
A layer of 1000 Posturfil mini pocket springs adds further cushioning. It also helps dispel moisture and heat, keeping the sleep surface fresher.
Support Core
1000 Advanced Cortec Quad pocket springs form the main support unit, each encased in its own fabric pocket. That means the springs respond to your body individually, supporting spinal alignment rather than pushing back as one block.
Mini Pocket Springs (Bottom)
Further layers of mini pocket springs sit beneath the core. They add a little extra give and keep air moving through the whole mattress.

Key benefits
- Proper space for two: At 150 x 200cm you get 75cm each for two people sharing, enough to shift position without disturbing the person next to you.
- Width softens the motion transfer: Some owners report noticeable movement across this mattress, so the UK king's extra elbow room is a practical buffer if one of you gets up hours earlier.
- Length for taller sleepers: The 200cm length, that's 5ft x 6ft 6in, stops anyone approaching six foot sleeping with their feet at the edge.
- Room for restless nights: The soft, springy surface plus king-size width suits pregnancy and recovery, when you're propping pillows and changing position more than usual.
- Airflow across a bigger surface: Spring-on-spring construction rather than foam lets heat escape, useful when two bodies share one bed all night.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a double now feels like a compromise, especially if one of you keeps different hours and gets up first. It also suits you if either partner is approaching six foot, since the 200cm length adds real stretching room, or if broken sleep from pregnancy or recovery means you need space to shift about freely.
Consider another size if...
You have the floor space for something bigger and want maximum separation from a partner's movement. The Quilted Fusion 12000 also comes in a UK super king, 30cm wider and the same length; allow at least 3m x 2.9m for it.

FAQ's
How much space does each person get on the Quilted Fusion 12000 UK king?
The UK king measures 150 x 200cm, which works out at 75cm each for two people sharing. That's a noticeable step up from a double, and on a mattress this soft the extra width means you're less likely to roll into your partner's dip in the night.
Does the UK king reduce partner disturbance on this mattress?
Partly. Across owner reviews, some couples report noticeable motion transfer through the springs, so this isn't the quietest mattress when someone turns over. The UK king helps in a different way: with 75cm each, you're simply further from the movement, which takes the edge off early alarms and late nights.
Is the Quilted Fusion 12000 UK king long enough for tall sleepers?
At 200cm long, or 5ft x 6ft 6in, it gives taller sleepers a genuine improvement over standard 190cm sizes. If one of you is around or over six foot, the length is arguably the bigger upgrade than the width. Anyone taller still gets the same 200cm in the UK super king, so sizing up won't add length.
Should I choose the UK king or UK super king in this mattress?
These are the only two sizes the Quilted Fusion 12000 comes in. The UK king suits most couples' rooms; we suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it. The UK super king is 30cm wider and the same length, and needs at least 3m x 2.9m. If your room comfortably clears that, the extra width is lovely; if not, the UK king is the sensible call.
Does the Quilted Fusion 12000 come in sizes smaller than a UK king?
No. Harrison Spinks makes this mattress in UK king and UK super king only, so there's no double or single option. If your room is under our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m minimum for the UK king, you'd need to look at a different mattress rather than a smaller size of this one.
