Cover
An in-house woven, chemical free Belgian damask cover, which means the sleeping surface stays breathable rather than trapping heat. It's a natural fabric rather than a synthetic knit.
Comfort fillings (top side)
Layers of Egyptian cotton, white British wool and mohair, responsibly sourced from Harrison Spinks' Yorkshire farm. These fibres wick moisture, which means a drier, more temperature-stable feel through the night.
Micro and Micro HD springs
Springs small enough to behave like a foam, targeting pressure points with accuracy. They sit above the main pocket spring system to soften the initial feel.
Cortec™ Pocket Springs
Individually pocketed springs developed by in-house engineers, which means each spring moves independently and adapts as you change position through the night. This is the supportive core of the mattress.
Micro and Micro HD springs
A second layer of micro springs beneath the pocket spring system, mirroring the layer above. This sandwich construction is what makes the mattress fully double-sided.
Comfort fillings (bottom side)
The same Egyptian cotton, British wool and mohair fillings repeated on the underside. You can flip the mattress and sleep on either face, which helps the fillings settle evenly over time.

- Space that absorbs a fidgety partner: With 90cm each and Cortec pocket springs that compress independently, movement on one side is unlikely to reach you on the other.
- Room for the whole household: When a child pads in at 3am, or the dog treats your bed as its own, a 180cm width means everyone still gets a fair share.
- Breathable across a big surface: The all-spring build and wool, cotton and mohair fillings let air move freely, which matters when two bodies share a bed all night.
- Two full sleeping faces: The same natural fillings sit on both sides, so you can flip it to even out wear, although at this width flipping is firmly a two-person job.
- No extra length to find: At 200cm the UK super king is the same length as the UK king, so the upgrade is all about width rather than needing a longer room.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a standard double or king has started to feel cramped, your partner is a genuinely restless sleeper and distance would help more than any comfort layer, or children and pets regularly join you before morning. Your bedroom should comfortably clear the 3m x 2.9m minimum we suggest, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling right.
Consider another size if...
Your room falls short of the 3m x 2.9m we suggest, or your stairs and landing would struggle with a flat-delivered mattress this size. We'd recommend the UK super king's nearest sibling, the UK king, which is 30cm narrower and suits rooms of at least 2.7m x 2.9m.

How big is the Harrison Spinks Salisbury 10750 in a UK super king?
It measures 180 x 200cm, or 6ft x 6ft 6in. For two people sharing, that works out at 90cm of width each, which is the same as each person having a UK single to themselves. It's the largest size the Salisbury 10750 comes in as standard.
What room size do I need for the Salisbury 10750 super king?
We suggest a minimum of 3m x 2.9m, and around 3.5m x 3.2m before the room feels properly balanced. Measure with wardrobe doors and drawers open, and check the door swing clears the foot of the bed. In a smaller master, a UK king often sits more comfortably.
Can you get the Salisbury 10750 super king upstairs?
It needs planning. This mattress arrives flat rather than rolled, and a 28cm-deep, double-sided sprung mattress at 180 x 200cm is heavy and awkward, so two people are essential. Before ordering, measure your stairwell, any landing turns and the bedroom doorway, as this is the size where tight corners start to bite.
Is the super king worth it over the UK king for this mattress?
If your room can take it, usually yes. The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king and exactly the same length, and that extra width is what turns a restless partner or a wandering child from a disturbance into background noise. The UK king needs a smaller room, at least 2.7m x 2.9m by our guidance.
Is the Salisbury 10750 super king good for couples with a restless sleeper?
It's one of the better cases for this size. The Cortec pocket springs move independently, so turning over on one side transfers little motion, and 90cm of width each adds physical distance on top. If one of you tosses and turns nightly, the space arguably does more than any filling could.
