It gives two people 67.5cm each, which is the traditional shared standard in the UK and works well for most couples. The 10,750 pocket springs respond to each sleeper separately, so movement transfer is low. If either of you is broad-shouldered or a restless sleeper, the UK king adds 15cm of width and 10cm of length.
