Layer Details
- Deep pillow top with soft knitted cover. A deep pillow top sewn beneath a soft knitted cover, which means the surface feels plush and inviting from the moment you lie down.
- Soft polyester comfort layer. A soft polyester layer that adds gentle cushioning just below the surface.
- High density polyester support layer. A denser polyester layer that stops you sinking too far into the comfort layers above. It bridges the gap between softness and the support below.
- Triple layer of Graphite memory foam. Three layers of graphite memory foam that mould to your shape and ease pressure at the hips and shoulders. Graphite is added to help the foam manage heat better than standard memory foam.
- Mini comfort springs. Two tiers of mini springs, 2000 on top and 2500 below, which means the mattress responds to smaller movements and adjusts more precisely to your body.
- Traditional pocketed springs. A base of 2000 traditional pocketed springs with full foam encapsulation. Each spring moves independently to support you where you need it, and the foam surround firms up the edges.
Layer details from sleepeezee.com product page, September 2026.
- More room each than a double: The UK king gives 7.5cm more each than the UK double, which means your elbows and knees stop meeting your partner's halfway through the night.
- Extra length for taller sleepers: At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, so a partner nearing six foot can stretch out without feet pressing past the edge.
- Less disturbance from an early riser: Independently moving pocket springs paired with 75cm of personal width mean one partner getting up before dawn is less likely to wake the other.
- Edges you can use: The foam surround on the spring unit firms up the sides, which means both of you can sleep close to your own edge and use the full width.
- Space without a super king room: You get a proper couples' size while needing less floor than the UK super king, which we suggest only for bedrooms of at least 3m x 2.9m.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a double has started to feel cramped, one of you is tall enough that the foot of a standard bed is a nightly nuisance, or your working hours differ and the partner who stays in bed wants to stay asleep.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m. The UK double would suit you better, and we suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m for the UK double.

Is the Sleepeezee Memory Ultimate 6500 UK king big enough for two adults?
For most couples, yes. The UK king gives 75cm each when two share, compared with 67.5cm each on the UK double. That extra 7.5cm per person is a modest number on paper but it is the difference between brushing against your partner all night and having your own side. If you both sprawl, the UK super king gives 90cm each.
Is a UK king Memory Ultimate 6500 long enough if you're over 6ft?
It is a better bet than the smaller sizes. The UK king measures 5ft x 6ft 6in, which is 10cm longer than the UK double, UK small double and UK single. Sizing up to the UK super king adds width only: the UK king and the UK super king are the same length, so height alone is no reason to go bigger.
Sleepeezee Memory Ultimate 6500 king or super king for a couple?
The UK super king gives 15cm more each, with 90cm per person against the UK king's 75cm, and no extra length. We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, against 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king. If your room clears the larger figure and one of you is restless, the UK super king is worth it; otherwise the UK king suits most couples.
Will I feel my partner getting up on a king size Memory Ultimate 6500?
A little less than on a smaller size. The pocketed springs move independently, so movement on one side travels less to the other, and the UK king's 75cm each puts a bit more distance between you than the UK double's 67.5cm each. It will not cancel movement entirely, but a light sleeper sharing with an early riser should notice the improvement.
Will a UK king Memory Ultimate 6500 fit in a new build master bedroom?
Measure after the wardrobes are in, because fitted furniture takes more floor than the plans suggest. We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, with 3.2m x 3.2m giving comfortable room to walk around both sides. If you fall short of the smaller figure, the UK double is the safer choice here.
