- Wool protector pad. A wool protector pad sits at the surface for extra comfort. It adds a soft, breathable first point of contact before you reach the fillings beneath.
- Natural fillings. All natural fillings, including Platinum Certified British fleece wool and cotton. Wool regulates temperature and wicks moisture, which means a drier, more even sleeping climate through the night.
- Springs. Six-coil vanadium steel springs, hand nested in calico, with 1,254 in the King size. Nesting the springs in calico pockets lets each one compress independently, so support follows the curve of your body.

Is a Vispring super king big enough for two adults and a child?
It is the most practical size for that. The UK super king gives two adults 90cm each before anyone else climbs in, so a small child tucked between you still leaves both of you a workable share. The soft tension lets everyone sink in a little, although heavier adults may find it too yielding over a whole night.

The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king and the same length, so each sleeper gains 15cm of width. We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king and at least 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king, so measure your room before deciding the extra width is worth it.
Will a Vispring super king fit in a loft conversion bedroom?
Only if you have a wall with full head height where the bed can go. Sloping ceilings often decide the layout, and a 180cm wide bed needs clear floor space along both sides for you to get in and out. Check the route up too: loft stairs tend to be narrow, with sharp turns on the landing.
How does a Vispring super king compare with a double for couples?
The difference is large. The UK super king is 45cm wider and 10cm longer than the UK double, which gives each of you 22.5cm more width. The UK double needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m, against our suggested 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, so the room usually makes this decision for you.
Is the soft Vispring super king a good idea if my partner and I sleep differently?
The extra width helps with movement and space, but the soft tension is the same from one edge to the other. If one of you is heavier or sleeps on their front, they may sink too far however much room they have.
